The hull has a careful wood finish, with visible planking, rows of cannon ports and numerous ornamental details. Particularly noteworthy are the carved figurehead, the decks, the stern window galleries and the plaque with the inscription "SUPERBE", which identifies the model represented.
The model also incorporates a fabric banner embroidered with heraldic motifs, which provides an attractive decorative detail to the set.
